Sauze D’Oulx welcomes the Vibram Enduro Trophy of Nations 2011, here the first info about the race

Dear Superenduro fans the 6th and 7th of August in Sauze d’Oulx is coming, the Vibram Enduro Trophy of Nations, the event of mountain bikes that we’ve been waiting so long and that will bring together finally in Italy the most strongest World Enduro bikers, in the beautiful backdrop of Alpi Bike Resort.
The announcement attended by Fabien Barel almost 1 year ago in Finale Ligure that officially announced that the 2011 edition of the EMTN would be in Italy is by this time history, the here and now is in Sauze d’Oulx and it can’t be lost!
Some of the major representatives of the gravity movement are coming from the USA, France, England (National Team list is constantly updated) and many other European countries, ready to take part to the more SuperEnduro exciting race ever staged before!

All the starters of this incredible competition will have the opportunity to compete and compare against the athletes of the National Teams, along the route of one of the most representative resorts concerning freeride and all mountain. That certainly doesn’t need any introduction, just in Alpi Bike Resorti you breathe enduro!
The general program of the event is dense and full of important moments throughout the weekend.
The routes will be signposted from Thursday, August 4, and on Friday evening is scheduled the presentation of the event and the parade of the National Team.

The number assignment and verification card is opened on Fridays from 15:00 to 20:00 and Saturday morning from 7:00 to 8:30. But the attention and adrenaline is all for the Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday the start is at 9:30 for the five special stages of the day, while on Sunday morning the special stages to run will be 3 (starting time at 9.00), followed, in the early afternoon, by the long-awaited Super Mountain!
The Super Mountain is a unique race, opened to all National Team and to the top 50 in the absolute ranking of the PRO SuperEnduro circuit. The race is very challenging with a mass start like in Downhill Marathon and over 1100mt of altitude!
The Super Mountain stage will take place along the longest Superenduro special stage, with the addition of 300 meters more downhill on dirt road to shell the group after the mass start.

A long strip will indicate the start and an exciting path is waiting to be plowed by fat tires, this is the Super Mountain!
