IN LIMONE PIEMONTE SUPERENDURO WILL RIDE HIGH AND IS GOING TO WRITE A PAGE OF HISTORY OF MTB
The Superenduro 4 Motion Volkswagen Powered by SRAM is about to approach the hottest part of the season with the SPRINT circuit come to an end, and all still to play on the PRO circuit.
The upcoming location, Limone Piemonte, is an absolute new entry for Superenduro, and is generating an irrepressible curiosity in our Superenduro riders, who can’t wait to discover every detail of these new paths and to match themself on the tracks.
The expectation for this weekend of 2-3 of July is growing up, after the Superenduro staff, after the inspection, called the special stages of Limone Piemonte really extraordinary. Now the voice is raised even by those who in these last days have been able to test the path, confirming the same appreciation: it is spectacular!
The second Superenduro PRO will be a mountain race, with all the features high altitude brings up in terms of length and height difference of the special stages. In all the PS will be 6 (3 to repeat 2 times) for a total distance that will be the longest in all the history of Superenduro!
But don’t worry! The race will be demanding as to require a PRO, but at the same time the transfers will be supported by modern lifts and fast (even with cable car), in able to return to the heights of the top competitors in Lemon 2000mt to even point from which the fantastic special stage Baita (PS3) to do the whole for maximum fun! This will give the chance to take full advantage of the vast territory of Limone
The race course will develop on the Bike Resort of Limone Piemonte, opened in summer 2010, and crosses high mountains and forest environments with significant variations in ground type and shape of the path that goes from fast single tracks to portions smooth and to ride all in one breath, putting in the light the style of the rider, to the benefit of spectacular action.
And that’s not everything! There is another reason why the next race in the calendar is not to be missed. The PRO of Limone Piemonte marks an important milestone reached by Superenduro, the official recognition by the Italian Cycling Federation of the specialty Enduro as a discipline, a historical moment of the Italian mountain bike, but also an international success, because the FCI is one of the first federations in the world to make this step.
That’s right, next weekend we will race for the Italian Enduro Championship. The stage of Limone will count as the only round of this competition and will decide the first Italian Enduro Champion in the history!
