The weekend of Sauze d’Oulx is getting hotter with new national teams
Everything is almost ready in Sauze d’Oulx for 6 / 7 August, when hundreds of bikes and bikers will crowd the streets and Miramonti square, ready to start one of the most important weekends of the year for the Enduro movement.
The tracks along which will be held the VW 4Motion4Bikers SuperEnduro powered by SRAM on its fourth 2011 round, will also be the early scenes of battles and skirmishes, among those that will participate in the race of Sunday afternoon at the only round valid for the Vibram Enduro Trophy of Nationsthe, the top international riders together with the first 50 absolute SuperEnduro classified.
We can confirm some updates on the teams that will race. The team France 3 starts with worldwide fame pilots as a 10-time DH world champion Nicolas Vouilloz and Karim Amour a specialist enduro rider and an expert of Sauze, together with Nicolas Lau.
Poland Team instead will race with Jakub Ruszkowski, Piotr Jarosławski and Sebastian Olejnik, while another country from northern Europe will descend down to lower latitudes, Finland, with Sauli Hjerppe, Ari Kurvinen and Erik Eklund, not very glad to find some typical Finnish woods of conifers also here in Italy, but will certainly appreciate the steep slopes of the Alps!
Soon we will know also our national grid, for the rest England, France, Belgium and Slovenia are ready to go, like the rest of the SuperEnduro staff, who works at this race since a long time now and that will be on the spot in Sauze d’Oulx from Monday to ensure the best to all of you!
The media coverage of this event is very high, the demand for exclusive material comes from magazines across the world: Dirt, Decline, VTT May, O2bikers, bikeBoard and Italian TuttoMTB and MTB Magazine but also pinkbike and 26in with updates on the web need cool photos and video. So if you see strange cables or tripods along the track or weird shapes moving in a bush, let go of the brakes, it could be the chance to get the shot of your life! Watch out not to lose precious seconds by the way!

Important Note
We remind all participants the obligation to have a valid card issued by any authority of the council, without which you can’t take the start of the race.
For the foreign riders are considered valid all the cards recognized by the UCI.
If you don’t have one, it’s possible to make a daily card at the race direction, but before you have to present an appropriate medical certificate for competitive sports (cycling) issued by an Italian doctor for sports or by the ASL.
